A NEW pizza joint opening in Maryborough wants to create a meaningful connection with the local community by delivering 100 per cent locally produced meals that are affordable and leave customers planning their next order before they’ve even finished their last slice.

Maryborough Pizza will turn on the pizza oven at 4/133 Lennox Street in mid-November and businessowner David Weller said they’re counting down the days until their first orders start coming in.

“We can’t wait for that first pizza to be cooked and placed in the box ready for pick-up or delivery,” said David.
“We want to become a Maryborough staple and that first order will mark the beginning of a new era.
“We’re so excited to be opening soon and serving the community. It’s going to be great for residents to have more food options.”
Maryborough Pizza is independently owned and has a strong focus on local.

“We’re 100 per cent local and all our supplies – from signage to ingredients – will be too. Our goal is to deliver locally produced, affordable and delicious pizzas to the Maryborough community,” explained David.
Jobs
And with new businesses come new jobs.
Maryborough Pizza is currently on the lookout for an experienced pizza chef to join the team.
Other jobs being advertised on their Facebook page include drivers and kitchen hands.
The perfect menu is still being finalised but there’s a chance customers will be able to choose their own toppings and design their dream pizzas!

While the final plans are put in place, you can keep up-to-date with Maryborough Pizza on Facebook and Instagram.
The shop will be open seven days a week from 12pm to 10pm, delivery and pick-up only – that’s lunch and dinner sorted!
Delivery
Delivery will be available within a 12km radius of the shop.
“The past two-and-a-half years have shown how important the delivery food market is and it’s expected to continue growing. We believe Maryborough needs another choice in pizza delivery and we intend becoming a local favourite for many years to come,” said David.
